Coach Remi was honored and excited to work the YMCA kindergarten Hoops Camp this year—A month long camp.
“This is what Team 304 is all about, and what youth basketball is supposed to be about. Helping the community, and encouraging youth of all ages; especially the youngest ages of kindergarten and first grade, to participate, have fun, learn life-long discipline, and play this wonderful game! Thank you to the Wheeling YMCA, Coach EJ Schodzinski, the Program Director Coach Curt Mcghee, and the Executive Director Coach Adam Shinsky for putting on this camp, and allowing me to be apart of it. Our job is to promote and grow basketball in Wheeling, and the Ohio Valley area. Even more so, throughout the state of West Virginia!”

Kindergarten Hoops is the perfect opportunity to introduce your child to the game of basketball. Instruction will be given on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and most importantly having fun! The YMCA utilizes 8 foot baskets and child-sized basketballs.
*Parents are welcome to participate with their child.
*Each participant will receive an ice cream treat each week.
Who: Boys and girls in Kindergarten
When: Thursday nights starting Oct. 7 (for 4 Thursdays)
Time: 6-7pm
Where: Wheeling YMCA in Elm Grove
Fee: $30 for members, $40 for non-members
