Alex Moore is a dynamic combo-guard who plays with a high level of intensity. He possesses a great motor, making him a formidable force to be reckoned with on the court. A three-year player for Team 304, Moore has an impressive high school career under his belt, just shy of 1,000 points (910 total) at Union Local High School. He is a hustler with excellent ball-handling and distribution skills, earning him recognition as an elite slasher and athlete, having won the dunk contest at the District 12 All-Star game. Moore is capable of scoring at all three levels, shooting at a high clip of 35% from three-point range and 46% from the field in his senior year. He excels on perimeter defense, having greatly improved his skills throughout his high school career. He takes pride in guarding tough matchups and the best player on the opposing team every game, with an impressive 75 steals in his senior year. Additionally, Moore is a capable rebounder for his size, able to grab long rebounds and mix it up with bigger players in the post when needed.

He made a significant contribution to his high school team, helping them win many games and advancing deep into the Ohio playoffs. Additionally, he continues to play for Team 304 in the AAU/Prep Hoops circuit this spring as an unsigned senior. Moore’s impressive talent, athleticism, and versatility make him a player to watch in the Class of 2024. He also showcases his athletic abilities in other sports, with multiple baseball interests from small colleges at various levels and two basketball offers from Penn State York and Bethany College (Division III).
