After a thrilling run at the Hidden Gems Tournament in Columbus, Ohio, where we finished 4-1 overall, Team 304 is excited to return to our hometown in the Wheeling area for the Teammate Basketball Tournament at Highlands this Saturday and Sunday. For the third year in a row, we’ve had the pleasure of supporting Mr. Blake Thompson and the Teammate organization, and we’re looking forward to hitting the court once again. Our high school boys will be taking on opponents from around the region, with games scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with the Sunday schedule to be announced / bracket play. While we had a tough loss in the semi-finals of the Hidden Gems Tournament, our first-team/17U team showed great promise and determination and our second-team / 16U finished the tournament undefeated. We’re eager to bounce back and make a strong showing in our hometown tournament.
But that’s not all – we’re also excited to announce a special Dine to Donate fundraiser hosted by The Cheese Melt, happening Friday through Sunday. When you order food from The Cheese Melt this weekend, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Team 304, helping us continue to support our young athletes and provide them with top-notch training and competition. We’re grateful for the support of our community partners like The Cheese Melt, and we hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled weekend of basketball and delicious food. Come out and cheer on Team 304 as we take on the best of the region!
