Not only were fans excited to see the governor, but fellow coaches were also excited to see him as well.
“I think it’s a great thing for Wheeling, I think it’s a great thing for the community as a fellow basketball coach. I’ve coached for a few years and I think it’s cool that he is visible for the state and community. Even in the political position as governor, he’s still coaching and I think it’s going to help a lot of youth and will help encourage them. But it was nice to see him – I got to talk to him a little bit earlier and I’m hoping that he will continue to do great work in the legislature and that his team plays well.” said Coach Remi Markos.
