This past weekend, Team 304 made a strong statement at the 2025 Hidden Gems Hoopfest held at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio. With college coaches and scouts in attendance from NCAA D2 and D3, NAIA, junior colleges, prep schools, and the USCAA, the gym was buzzing with opportunity. The atmosphere was electric with player and team rankings scouts, website writers, and photographers capturing every highlight and hard-fought possession.

Team 304 was represented by both our 15U and 17U squads—and both delivered performances that turned heads.

15U Team Makes Impressive Debut

Our 15U squad made their season debut in Mount Vernon and wasted no time making an impression. On Saturday, they came out strong, winning both of their games by a combined 21 points. The young group showed poise, hustle, and a clear chemistry that defied their early-season status. While their run came to an end in Sunday’s semifinal against a talented opponent, falling by 10 points, the performance marked a promising start for this group. The foundation is solid, and this team is only going to get better.

17U Team Bounces Back for the Championship

The 17U squad faced early adversity, dropping two tightly contested games on Saturday by a combined total of just 9 points. But the response was exactly what you’d want to see from a veteran group. On Sunday, they came out locked in—storming through the bracket and winning both games convincingly to take home the championship. Their resilience, execution, and leadership were on full display, sending a clear message to the teams and scouts in attendance: Team 304 is built for the moment.

What’s Next

Team 304 is back in action May 9–10 at the BSA Mother’s Day Tourney in Pittsburgh, PA. See full schedule here. With both teams gaining momentum and building confidence, we’re excited to keep stacking performances and competing at a high level.

Stay locked in with Team 304 all season long. This is just the beginning.
